Performance Linen - "It is my current favorite for curtain panels. It is very soft, and drapes beautifully, travels well from the workroom and installs like a dream, only needing a little steaming once hung. It cleans well, making it a practical choice for clients with children and pets."
Wide Cotton Sateen 3.5 oz - "Wonderful for dust skirts, duvets, shower curtains and lampshades. Its extra wide width also makes it work really well as a curtain liner. I love adding a subtle print to the back of a curtain panel, especially when it can be seen through a window by the front door, or by a patio."
Belgian Linen™ - "Its texture and weight make it a good choice for roman shades that will mainly be stationary. It works well for clients that want a natural look and are familiar with the qualities of linen."
Cypress Cotton - "Because of its weight, it works well for roman shades that will be opened and closed on a regular basis. It prints with wonderfully saturated and crisp colors and also works well for light upholstery - such as dining chair seats."

What fabrics do you enjoy working with from Spoonflower and why?
"Not all fabrics are created equal when it comes to producing large, beautiful monograms so we must be very mindful of the characteristics of the fabric we use. We love the Linen Cotton Canvas option offered by Spoonflower which combines the durability of linen with the softness of cotton.
The texture, foundation, and weave of a fabric must allow for the clean, smooth ‘stitch out’ of a beautiful monogram which can take up to four hours to produce. The fabric must also have the strength, flexibility and movement our upholsterers require—with their terrifically strong hands—to pull the monogram panel taut when upholstering the back of a chair. It all begins with quality fabric which is the foundation for our custom monogrammed chairs. "

"So many things. Honestly, other textile brands have wonderful fabrics too, but the account management at Spoonflower sets them apart. When we were working on the 'Triplet Chairs', we were in a serious time crunch to receive the fabric in time to get the seat back panels monogrammed in time to get the chairs upholstered. Only because Spoonflower pulled out all the stops were we able to get those precious chairs done in time for the baby shower and nursery install."
